This college is very reputed college for commerce in South Kolkata.It is a girls college.It is a morning college.My parent suggest me to join this college.It is a very well known girls college.It is very close to my house.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty is supportive and very humble. The teachers are helpful and they are knowledgeable and some of them are exceptionally good. The teaching quality is good. Some of them are very experienced as they are quite old. The course curriculum is relevant and the students will be ready for the industry in 3 year.

Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

The highest salary is about 2 lakh, the lowest is 30k offered to our course. Students need to appear for a online test by the companies through the college. TCS is one of the top recruiting company in our college.

College Events

Canteen is average, but the college is in the market area, so you will have a good option for food with variety. The library is very good, and it has a good number of books with good facilities. Sometimes they had some sports and also celebrated fests and festivals. It is a good college with a good environment.

Campus Life

It is a good college with a good environment.The college has a well-built library. Wi-Fi connection is there all over the college. Classrooms are spacious. Labs are renovated with new computers. The canteen is really awesome. The food provided is cheap in price but of very good quality.The college doesn't provide any hostel facility.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Moderate College Life.

After HS I applied many colleges but I didn't got chance at the top notch colleges as they damand more marks than I got. After trying so many colleges I finally got admitted to this college.
