Remarks

The campus of Kingston is very big and full of green. This college has ore than 80 acres of campus area. Free car, bike, cycle parking facility available in the college. The total tuition fees of BCA is just 1.2 lakhs with study material and library fees where other colleges want 2 - 4.5 lakhs also somewhere 6 - 8 lakhs but all things are same in there.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is affilated by MAKAUT. Course contains many new subjects and MAR activities. Our syllabus is very informative. Study material ans class note is free. Not books you have to buy. Just 1.2 lacs fees.

Salary starts from 1 lacs and end up to 4 lacs per annum You have to well skilled for get placements. I get at job at digital markteing manager at Kolkata. Salary is 2.3 lacs. But I'm happy as per my expectation.

College Events

Campus life is not good for my expectation. Fresher's Party, teacher's day celebration is well organised. Some of the extra curricular activities is good to me like sports, women's sports, marathon race, blood donation camp every year. It is best as per my opinion.

Campus is spread over In the collge there many seminar, skill development classes are held. Some of them are organised by renowned comapnies. For these there are separate hall which fully airconditioned for every department.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
