Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies is considered to be one of the top colleges in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for BBA. It is ranked as 2nd in GGSIPU. It has good infrastructure and faculty and provides good facilities and good exposure options.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers are very helpful and qualified. They possess all the required knowledge about their subjects. The teaching quality is very great and all the syllabus and curriculum works according to a fixed routine. That helps in making the students industry ready for their future careers.

Placement Experience

MAIMS is one of the top Indraprastha University college which offers many courses like BBA, BCA, B(A)JMC and BA.LLB. Some of top companies visit our college and students are provided with the best possible placement. MAIMS is one of the best colleges for BBA and has an average placement rate.

Campus life of Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies is quite average. Campus crowd is also pretty average. All festivals are celebrated in MAIMS. Fests are not that great. The college organises annual fest which is considered to be one of the best fests of college.

The faculty is very great and very well qualified and all the necessary infrastructure facilities are present within the college premise. The library contains all needed and extra material for studies. The hostel and canteens are quite hygienic and neat and clean.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
