Course Curriculum Overview
Our syllabus was quite updated. We had to do a term paper during our third year which helped me a lot. Doing a term paper means one has to research a lot and study thoroughly the subject and the topic. It increased my knowledge of the subject beyond the outline of the book covers. It helps one to have a practical knowledge. Apart from that, the syllabus was divided in such a way that one can get good marks if one follows the class regularly and remain up to date.
Placement Experience
When I passed my honors in2019, there are many job campuses. Even the company like Cognizant offer student jobs. The selection was held in a quite unbiased way. There are 3 procedures. First one has to give the exam and the next two round is a kind of interviews sections. Not only Cognizant many other companies give student job opportunities. Many students got the opportunity from Bethune, especially students who are almost determined not to study further.
College Events
The college provides a feast every year for the students. Not only students of Bethune college but also students from any college can participate in those programs. There are many other celebrations which used to take place inside the college campus. Starting from the Bethune day celebration to any other celebration, Bethune actively participates in it.
Campus Life
The campus infrastructure is really good. Bethune is one of the oldest college for Women. Everything about the college's infrastructure has a classic attire. Bethune has a good library where one can get any kind of books they want. It has a sports ground. Bethune organize any kind of outdoor activities in the sports ground. Apart from that, the whole college is surrounded by big trees. Bethune college maintains the tree plantation every year and sometimes students also participate in that. The college provides a feast every year for the students every year.
