The Institute's MBA programme is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Ranked A+++ category B-School in the country. Most importantly it is full time course. Secondly it is a huge alumni based college.

Operations management. 4. Human resource management. 5. Business analytics. 6. MIS. Excellent panel of faculties with highly qualified professionals. We have also visiting faculties as well.

Aimk(Army Institute of Management Kolkata) placement record has been excellent over the past eighteen years. The institutes graduates are sought after by the Industry and they have been working successfully in different organisations throughout the country. Every year more than 100+ company visits our campus for placement. The students placed are mainly from the areas of Marketing, Finance & Human Resource Department. Apart from this, this AIMK is a huge alumni-based college so the role of the Alumni Association in helping AIM Kolkata to achieve placement goals is very much important.

College Events

To be honest telling, I am having the best hostel experience with aimk right now.As i mentioned this college is fully residential and its surrounded by huge compus.Apart from this we have Separate Common Rooms with TV are available for male and female students.About hostel room The hostels are equipped with all sophisticated facilities.The Institute encourages sports activities also and provides facilities for volleyball, table tennis, basketball, football, cricket, lawn tennis, badminton etc. Sports meet is held annually for the students.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
