Remarks

This college is a well known college for commerce in South Kolkata.My tuition teacher has also completed her graduation from this college.She told me that the faculty and education environment of this college is very nice.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers are highly qualified.Faculty members are very helpful and taught us very well.They explain everything in very proper way.They complete the whole syllabus according to CU syllabus pattern.

Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience

I don't know much about placements.But some of our professors and seniors said that some reputed industries like TCS,Wipro,Amy,ICICI etc visited our college and offered placements in the previous year.

College Events

Every year an annual sports meet takes place in a stadium where the students take part and compete against each other. Saraswati puja and Annual fest are also celebrate every year. The college also organizes welcome freshers party for new students.

Campus Life

Free Wi-Fi connection is there all over the college.The facilities and infrastructures are good. The classrooms are big with 180 studentsin each section. There are labs too. The library is huge.We have 2 library.One is central library and another one is seminar library. The college doesn't provide any hostel.The canteen is pretty.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Moderate College Life.

After HS I applied many colleges but I didn't got chance at the top notch colleges as they damand more marks than I got. After trying so many colleges I finally got admitted to this college.
