Remarks

This college is very close to my house.This college is very well know college for commerce in Kolkata.My parent,seniors suggest me to join this college.And said that this college is good for students who wants to do graduation in commerce.This is a morning girls college.

Faculties are good and have good qualification.With my experience I can say our facilities are friendly in terms of teaching.So our academics have become easy.They complete the syllabus according to CU's CBSC pattern.

I don't know much about placements because I am in 1st year but I heard from my seniors that many reputed companies like TCS,Wipro, ICICI etc visited our college and sellect eligible candidates after taking exams.

College Events

Our campus life is very nice.Every year an annual sports meet takes place in a stadium.There is a non political college union.The college also organises freshers party and annual fest every year. It is a girls college the students on their own take in inter college fests.

The classrooms are big with 180 students in each sections.Our college has a beautiful garden at the entrance.Free WiFi connection is all over th college. There are a computer lab at ground floor. There are other labs too. There are two libraries and a canteen at the back of the college.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Moderate College Life.

After HS I applied many colleges but I didn't got chance at the top notch colleges as they damand more marks than I got. After trying so many colleges I finally got admitted to this college.
