Remarks

First of all, it is one of the most prestigious off-campus colleges of Delhi University. My teachers, friends and parents all recommended me to join this college as it has a number of good things. This college is also well known for its brilliant teaching faculty. The college is quite appreciative for the students who take part in co-curricular and extra curricular activities. There are lots of societies to take part in. Moreover, most of the students who apply for placements gets placed. I took this course of B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics as I had interest in Mathematics from the school years.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is good for the students who are interested in Mathematics like me. The course is really for the students who wish to have a career in the line of Mathematics and this course really provides a lot of career options. The curriculum of this course is well-defined. There are four subjects in every semester of which most of them are related to Mathematics only. The academics helps the student to shape his career on the right path and the college really helps the students to develop their knowledge and skills which provides them with a lot of opportunities. The faculties are highly qualified professionals which helps the students whenever any doubt arises in the minds of the students and always give their best to pass on their knowledge to their students.

Placement Experience

4

Students who apply for placements are most likely to get placed as there are a number of reputed companies who offer placement opportunities to the students of our college.

College Events

4

The campus life is quite nice. The college organises many events throughout the year so that the students focus on both academics as well as extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. The winter carnival was a very new idea in our college as it was a new idea and was really nice. It provided everyone the opportunity to participate and perform in it.

Campus Life

4

The campus is quite large. There is greenery almost everywhere in the campus. The library, canteen and sports complex are really good. There are almost all of the sports equipments available inside the campus only. There are multiple buildings connected to each other. There are computer labs with well - functioning computers in them. The playground is huge as well.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The curriculum was overall good and being a economics honours courses it was challenging at times. The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.
