Remarks

I prefer this college because it is very near to my house, also the teachings in the college is very good. But there is some bad aspects also have in the college, freedom given to students is very less and also no mobile phones are allowed in our college campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because i love construction. In our college each class has approximately 50-60 students. The minimum qualitification of teachers teaching there were M.TEK. On each sem there is two internal exams. It is conducted by college. Only a brilliant student can pass all exams. Others will definitely fail atleast one subject.

Course Fees: INR 82400 per year

Internships Opportunities

Me and my friends do internship at first year. We do internship at company Habitat Technology group at poojappura.They teach us different practical civil engineering aspects.

Placement Experience

The 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. There were well known companies like infosys,ibs, etc..My plan is after getting degree i will look for a government job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is very high around 83400 each year. The scholarship were given to brilliant students.

Our college has annual fest and also diiferent tech festivals.college fest were conducted at almost march and our tech fest is at april. The library has many range of books. College also have sports and extra curricular activities. We have also different clubs like nature club, magazine club etc...

There is an interview before the admission. It is a small interview. Mainly we will get admissions by our percentages of mark by 12th & 10th.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I had applied for saitgaits,amal jyothi and cet. Considering cet,the fee and placements are high but the discipline and structured way is lacking.Now considering saintgaits and amal jyothi,there are more opportunities in mbcet to explore.. mbcet is also in the town and easily approachable via public transport.mbcet has a disciplined approach to studies.comparing the hostels too mbcet has one of the best hostels. I was rejected in cet for cs dept as i didnt aquire the required rank..i was accepted in both others but decided to join mbcet due to its status in society.
