Remarks

Very disciplined college, best faculties and the college is also top rank holder among other colleges in West Bengal, these are the reasons that drove me to take admission in this college. This college is very famous for b.com course and as I want to gain more knowledge in finance that's why I have opted the course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is very much updated. There has been many new topics included. The faculties are great. All the teachers are great.We are also provided with great variety of books from aur college library. Our college library is one of the best thing in our college.

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 41000 per year

Placement Experience

The faculties motivates the students to those who want to start entrepreneurship. Many great companies visits for placements. There are many notable alumni who are now great businessman and some are also very famous celebrities. Many BPO and KPO companies visits for placements.

College Events

Campus life is great. Teachers are so friendly. Dean sir maintains the discipline of the college so well and he is also very friendly with students. All the professors and Dean sir helps students in organising events. Other colleges also participates in our college events. We have college fest every year named "Umang". It's quite a famous fest in Kolkata among all other college fests.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is best among all other colleges in Kolkata. Size of our library is more than 1500sq.ft(more). Sports facilities are best. There is sports arena where we are provided with all types of sports like table tennis, chess, badminton, etc. Wi-Fi facility is also quite good

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
