Remarks

I chose this university because it ranks 3rd among the NLUs in India. The first is National Law School of India University situated in Karnataka and the second is NALSAR which is in Hyderabad. NUJS gives good placement opportunities in corporate firms.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is not made for the benefit of the students. A lot of academic pressure is faced by the students of this university. Some professors are very good in teaching but some do not even come to classes for teaching. Well it is common in any government but this should be changed taking into consideration the hefty amount of fees we pay every year

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are good. But not everyone studying in NUJS gets placement in top law firms of India. It is only the top 10 percentage of a batch that is the lucky one. Others go for mid tier or law tier law firms.

College Events

Life in NUJS is fun and enriching. Many events take place every year. Students are from different backgrounds and from different cultures. Cultural diversity is respected and thus a lot of cultural fests are held in our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship facility is provided by our university on a need and merit basis. Hence is a student's financial background is not good and if he or she is consistently good in studies then the university waives some amount of fees.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
