Remarks
The university is closer to my home and is a state university so i had some reservation because of being from Delhi region. The campus was good I also had an option of going to DTU but I chose NSUT because it was more programming oriented and had lesser competition. I opted for mechanical because it was my only choice.
Course Curriculum Overview
Talking about the course curriculum it is new and good because of the new University formed (formerly NSIT).it is quite to the point and technical knowledge having lots of practicals for core branches. Faculties are ok some of them support very well and some don't care much.
Internships Opportunities
No, but I've done off campus internships. And there are startups you can join within the college.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are very good since it is the second best college after IIT Delhi for technical branches and technical courses. Giant companies and MNCs come to recruit students from all over the world
College Events
College Fest are an art and are really huge. Now being a University, the funding has increased and thus the quality of fest has increased. There are two fests in one year with fresher's party as a different thing. So many events occur and thus participation is good as well. Always something or the other happens on campus
Fees and Financial Aid
I joined the scholarship from the deli merit come means which is for the tuition fee where I got 50% relaxation in tuition fee.
Campus Life
Sports facilities are intermediately rated. whenever you ask for a football or basketball it is already booked and they are out of balls. Other games have good accommodation. Wi-Fi is too good high speed and all over the campus. library is pretty big with two floors and on the ground floor you have reading room where you can study well. Your library has full Wi-Fi access. Equipment and labs are good but not very good because they are not well maintained for years. For mechanical they are good because it is a new branch her.
Hostel Facilities
Not open for hostels but the rooms are pretty small. Food is not good and i feel that the hostel accommodation rate is quite high. As heard by other students, water supply is also not good. not drinkable at all.
