Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is kept very well updated. There are numerous reference books and textbooks by various renowned foreign authors available in the library. Internship drives are undertaken every year. The faculty is very dedicated towards their job and keen to help each and every student.
Placement Experience
Microsoft offered the highest package last year worth Rs. 43 LPA. The training and placement cell is very active and so is the alumni network.
College Events
The campus life is amazing. It being an all girls college, there are a very few restrictions. The annual technical fest named INNOVATION is an amazing opportunity for everyone to showcase their technical skills & learn some new ones. The annual cultural fest named GANDHAR is a joyous celebration with all types of performances imaginable. Every student participates enthusiastically in these events and they're a huge success every time. In addition to these, there are various other fests and events held by various student bodies from time to time.
Campus Life
The campus size is not very big but sufficient for the amount of students present there at a time. There is an afternoon shift for two branches, Computer and EnTC,in order to avoid crowding. Sport facilities are ample and there's a huge playground at the Maharshi Karve Stri Shikshan Sanstha. Wi-fi is available for all the college PCs. The library is huge and new books are added every month. Digital library system is also available in-campus. The lab equipment is up-to-date.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is proper. The rooms are neat and tidy. They're regularly cleaned. The in-time is 8.30 pm. The wardens are polite, friendly and helpful. The Baya Karve Hostel Complex constitutes of 4 hostels with 3 girls sharing one room and common washrooms on each floor. Diwekar hostel has rooms on twin sharing basis too along with the 3 sharing ones. Here, there is a attached washroom to every room. There are two more college hostels similar to Diwekar but they're mostly occupied by architecture and MBA students. It is easy to avail the college facility as there are a lot of rooms available. If not, then there are numerous PGs available around with approximately the same pricing as the hostels.
