Remarks
The placement of the university is pretty good with companies like Cognizant, IBM, Honda, SAP, Amazon and Adobe coming in offering handsome packages to candidates. The faculty is qualified and treats students really nicely. They are very patient with the students. Our campus is nestled between the foothills of Himalayas, away from the city centre of Dehradun, providing a nice environment for studying. This factor attracted me a lot.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is updated regularly, but not frequently, like in most Indian engineering colleges. The faculty is very experienced and provides us with a good classroom experience. The course curriculum is satisfactory, but could've been better.
Placement Experience
The alumni networking is great. I, myself am a part of a group that helps us connect with alumnis and they always provide us with information regarding the current market situation and job opportunities. Big companies like Adobe, Amazon, IBM, Honda, Cognizant etc. come in during placement drive and provide good packages going up to 30 lacs sometimes.
College Events
There are loads of events happening almost every week, even through online mediums. There are many student clubs who are encouraged to conduct technical and cultural events. Participants are provided with certificates from the clubs. There are even workshops conducted regularly to help us enhance our skills.
Campus Life
The library is huge with thousands of books related to every topic you could ask for. They also take requests for books that aren't available in the library. There are basketball and badminton courts available inside the hostel. There's unlimited wi-fi access everywhere in the campus.
