Remarks

I chose this college because I found this college really good for my course, and it has a pretty good environment for studying. The thing which I like most about the College is it's Library, where I spend my free time reading books. There are more than 30k books. So I choose the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers of this college are very helpful and well-educated. They are knowledgeable, and their teaching skills are also good. They have many degrees and a good knowledge of all the subjects. It provides good quality education.

Class Size: 87Course Fees: INR 262000 per year

Placement Experience

Around 65% of the students got placements through our college. Many companies are visiting as recruiters in our college, and all companies hire at least 45-55 students. Some students are offered with a salary package of 4-5 lac per annum.

College Events

Annual festival is the main festival of our college, college from all over Kolkata visits and students from that college take part in that event, and even Celebrity are all for an event that is the best part of the fest.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
