Remarks

For me my college which is Pailan Technical Campus is the best private diploma engineering college in West Bengal. It has 3 streams which is EE, ETCE, CIVIL. The faculty of these 3 streams are excellent and the way they teaches us is very good. The placement department is also very good. I recommed to join Pailan Technical Campus if someone is looking for good diploma private engineering college.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course was EE so as per the course i have learnt many things like from the text book, college also provides us good laboratories for my course, college have taken us to industrial visits, seminars, vocational training.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement is very good, our college brings companies like kirloskar, Hadwise, Skh metals, Dhoot Transmission and many more

College Events

Our college conducts many festival events like swaraswati puja, viswakarma puja and much more. Our college also conducts annual fests where dj or singers come to perform. Our college also conducts a prize giving day to students for their academic performance.

Campus Life

Our campus has a huge infrastructure like they have wifi, good collection of books in the library, good clean and well maintained labs, college has all sport facilities like football, cricket, volleyball and much more

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
