Remarks

The college is very near from my home and I can't travel far from my house. Moreover the college is very good and the professors are very well educated and student friendly. I always wanted to get admission in this college because the learning process is very good and environment is ideal. So I chose kalyani Mahavidyalaya.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course syllabus is very updated and we students are very happy with it because it provides all the information about our course and it helps to be a good programer. The faculties are good enough and one of the best professor is SRD ma'am our HOD.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 1000 per year

Placement Experience

After completing the degree course one can get jobs but my preference is for higher education as the opportunities as better.

College Events

Our college celebrate many festivals like Saraswati puja, Durga puja etc. It allows us to celebrate many cultural programmes like fresher's welcome party or teacher's day celebration. Our college is not enough technically advanced but the students haven't faced any problems for this.

Campus Life

Sport facilities are not available in our college but our college premises is big enough to play any game. Wi-Fi facility is available in our college. The library is big enough and there is a huge collection of all type of books, magazines etc. The labs are also blessed with enough equipments.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Firstly, the college was near to me as compared to other colleges. The infrastructure was also good and well maintained. I chose other colleges like Sarojini Naido Women's College, Lady Brabourne College, Bethune College etc. I got a chance to get admitted in Sarojini Naido Women's College but I preferred my present college due to better course and distance from my home.
