Remarks
This college had an NIRF ranking of 160 in 2019 and also I've heard from some of my seniors that this college is great in case of study and extracurricular activities. Among many other colleges, I found special interest in the infrastructure of this college. Also JIS group is one of the most renowned Educational groups in India and this college is the best engineering college under JIS group. I opted for B.Tech(Hons) in Computer Science and Engineering because I had much interest in working with computers and playing with codes.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college is an Autonomous one. So they set the syllabus according to the industry needs. The college has good exposure to industrial trainings and different associate programs. The facilities here are really great. Among them, Ananya Ma'am, Avishek Sir and Jayanta Sir are great.
Placement Experience
Byju's, Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, Cognizant, Amazon, IBM, Infosis, TCS, Wipro, Mindtree are some of the notable recruiters of our college. There is 95% placement from CSE branch. We have great alumni networks and they are always ready to help their juniors through job referrals.
College Events
Our college organizes a technical fest called Kritanj where the students of and outside the college show their talent in technical fields. There are several events held in this fest. Moreover there is a Cultural fest called Navodaya where students of and outside the college can take part. Also every year, there are Chief Guests who are invited. This year Nikita Gandhi and Underground Authority came to our fest and made our fest day a memorable one.
Campus Life
Students get enough exposure to sports and extracurriculars. They also organize different sports events. Also they organize the Technical and Cultural fests where the students show their talent in technical and cultural fields. The library is quite big and has a great collection of books. The labs are also well equipped.
