Remarks

It was totally depended on WBJEE counseling. I always wanted to pursue Computer Science Engineering if I'd ever get a chance and I did so I went for it. The infrastructure of the college is really nice. The seniors and teachers are helpful too. One can focus on other activities as well other than studies which is really good. The organising committee of any event be it big or small is pretty good as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus could be updated more I didn't find it much useful during my first semester. The faculties are undoubtedly good. The Computer Science faculty is really helpful and interactive. Since I'm a computer science student I can't say about the other faculties as well. But the CSE faculty is really nice and everyone treats us as their own.

I'm just a 3rd semester student so I can't say anything from experience but yes depending on what information I gained from the seniors and the teachers the placements are pretty fair and even some excellent students secure multiple placements as well.

College Events

Tons of events happen at our college starting from Technical to Non-technical and even festive events. The participation is pretty fair and everybody seems to enjoy them. The Annual and the Technical fests are the grand and long awaited ones and it surely keeps the hopes of the students high.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

The overall campus life and experience is good . Good infrastructure and very nice events.

I applied to scotting church and jis university also. I prefered this college as it is affordable with good reputation and is near my home . I achived 15000 rank in wbjee so according to my rank and location i choose this college. I visit some more colleges like techno india,brai ware univerty etc but at least all of my criteria matched in this college.
