Top medical school in west bengal, my own uncle was a doctor from here and he was a good physician. This college was always chosen by the brilliant students of our state so I chose this college. Also it is in kolkata the educational and cultural capital of our state.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is not really that updated the same syllabus has been continuing with same kind of teaching techniques. The faculties are the best but the facilities are not. The laboratories needs to be upgraded.

Placement Experience
It is good we get to work under West Bengal Health Recruitment Board. We get jobs of either a Medical Officer or Teaching in colleges. Also we can get into private jobs in big private hospitals.
College Events
It was nice. Fun and exhausting. The learning process was exciting and tiring. Then there were fresher's nad fests to give us the taste of fun student life nad to interact with the outer world. Also people do venture out for research by interacting with professors.
Campus Life
The campus is really big with several buildings housing various departments. There are many gallery style classrooms which are big and airy and each and every brick talks about the tales of their ageing. There is sadly no sports facilities. There are 7 hostels in total for undergraduates. The library is huge with thousands of books.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel are really big ones with 4 sharing room options. The hostels have an indoor play area, a playground, a library, a canteen area with a tv and long verandahs. Bathroom were mostly clean and there are weekly sweepers to keep the verandahs clean.
