Remarks

I chose my college/university after a deep research inclusive of the following factors: Placement Opportunities: My College offers sought-after placement as well as internship opportunities. They focus on overall skill development rather than just focussing on academic skills. Co-Curricular Activities: There are mamy clubs/societies in my college for non-technical as well as technical domains. These societies and activities play a great role in personality development as well as confidence building. Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructural facilities with well-equipped laboratories and library. The massive ground and the canteen are favourite hangout spots for the college students. Most importantly, the good reputation and reviews regarding the college and the university helped me make the right decision for myself.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University,delhi. Hence, syllabus and exam pattern are updated by them. Our college cannot decide it. Industrial visits are held by various technical societies to provide relavent industrial exposure to the students. Best faculity of our college is of EEE departement followed by ECE and ICE.

Placement Experience

The prominent organizations like Airtel, Aricent, AVIZVA, CB&I, DYSON, DXC, E&Y, GLOBAL LOGIC, Mahindra, Indian Navy, Hughes Systique, HSBC, Nagarro, SAPIENT, SAMSUNG, Windmoller & Holscher, ZS, ZYCUS, etc. visit us every year. Almost all the students get placed with these companies before they finish their studies. Around 15 20% students join reputed institutions of higher education in India such as IITs, IIMs, XLRI, IISc, and other foreign universities for PG Programmes.

College Events

Biggest event/annual fest of our college BVEST Which consists of robotic competition, hackathon, dramatic competition,debates, gaming competition,etc. Students from all over delhi participate in these competition. Many carrier related workshops are organised by various societies.

Campus Life

Sports facilities available are basketball, table tennis, cricket, football, kabbadi. The inly thing worse about it is thst sport is allowed after 4pm in our college. Wifi facilities are very very poor in the college. Library is very well equipped with course related books but biography anf fiction books are not available. Equipment are very well updated.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

BVCOE, Delhi : Is not still the top colleges of IP affiliated colleges

In the Year 2019, I gave the JEE MAIN [Joint Entrance Examination-Main] having the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths and we were informed by the concerned authorites that the selection in a Indraprasth University College and affiliated colleges will also happen by the marks gained in JEE-Main. We applied in the admission procedure in IPU and provided a minimal fees for the process. After that, there were 3 rounds of selection in which we chose which college in IPU we need and which stream. Then the result of each round came and a student can choose whether to apply for next round or is satisfied with the seat gained in previous round.
