I chose Govind ballabh pant university of agriculture and technology pantnagar because I wanted a well-rounded education with the opportunity to sample courses from many different departments before I found my calling. It's the first agriculture university of India.campus size of this university also drove my attention.And it's the biggest university in my state.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course curriculum is thorough and practical.Its pretty good that we have been taught by live examples and we also visit industries,labs and the cropfield every week for our practices.our weekly schedule is hectic that no chance to miss any class for any Extra curricular activities during college hours.Our final CGPA is based on the assessment of our 2 internal exams, one external and lab final.The quality and also the quantity of the faculty is impressive that everyone is eager to teach you as much as they.Faculty is helpful too that they comfort you in every situation.some of the faculty members whom I have read yet are Dr. A.k. Tripathi,Dr. C.S Chopra( HoD of food science and technology) are my personal favourite as I love there teaching style there way to make a interesting and light environment throughout there classes and the way of there assessment.

The college placement opportunities is something that so disappointing while if you go to seek a job you can get one easily but placement through college is difficult.
College Events
Our campus is about 40 km square it's a city in itself and you have to live in that city and can go out only with the permission.The colleges organise so many extra curricular activities really it's uncountable.There are my societies in university who organises various event.Purpose of these societies is to develop leadership, management, and teamwork qualities among students.The kisam Mela in my university is a very big event this fair is organised 2 times a year it's my personal favourite as people (farmers, scientists and students) came from across the globe it's so informative and entertaining.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are my scholarship offered by university as if you are top 3 in academic in your class,if you are in university team of any sport.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of my university is one of the factors why I chose this university.Its so well maintained.The sports stadium,the accessories all are fabulous as the sport teachers and coaches are so deciplined. WiFi facilities is not up to the mark.As the network are weak in the hostel rooms.My university library is the best place that I think I love this place just everything about it it's size it's facilities it's environment.The condition of practical labs were quite disappointing as the equipment are not maintained.
Hostel Facilities
It's necessary to be in hostel if your are not from pantnagar.The infrastructure is not that impressive.But there are total about 23 hostels in university.one room in hostel is shared by three students.
