Remarks

Two factors drove to select NIT Kurukshetra and these are its Placement track record and its location in the holy city of Kurukshetra. I like the CCN, green & beautiful Campus and Sports complex of the NIT very much.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing Electrical Engineering here and its syllabus has been designed well, divided into eight semesters. The curriculum is updated and well structured. There is Internships for industrial exposure. The faculty members are highly qualified and trained. My favourite professor was Kulbir sir in first semester.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 62500 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

Many big companies including Google, Facebook, Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Hero, Airtel, Mahindra, Some PSUs, Swiggy etc visit the campus for recruitment of candidates. The highest package offered last year was 40 lakh per annum and the CSE and IT placement is awesome. The alumni are supporting us and visit the campus periodically.

College Events

The life in the campus is outstanding and we enjoy learning here. Technical fest is Techspardha and cultural fest is Confluence. These two are the biggest fest here. Students from all over the India participate in them.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards you'll be eligible for campus placements. Many companies visits are college such as adobe, nippo, airtel etc.. Avg package is around 6lpa Almost 70-85% are getting placements.

I chose this college due to its ranking and the overall atmosphere of the college and also the reviews or various alumni who are in good positions today. I did apply to other NITs like NIT Bhopal, NiT Surat, NIT Allahabad and others but didn't get confirmation of admission due to rank factor and spot rounds. Due to this I didn't secure admission in other colleges.
