Remarks

It is among the top NITs. Placement record of the college is very good. Being a govt college, fees is very less here. I really like the teachers of the college. I opted computer science because it is in demand at present.

Course Curriculum Overview

curriculum is regularly updated to make students industry ready. There is equal emphasis on practical knowledge. There are a lot of faculty members in CSE department who have proper knowledge and industrial experience in the field. Only 3-4 professors are not good and very arrogant.

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 290000 per year

Placement Experience

Nearly 95% students are placed from CSE branch every year. The highest package was offered by Microsoft of 43LPA and the lowest 6LPA. average package is of 12LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies who come here are Adobe, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, SAP etc.

College Events

Very great. Lots of fun events throughout the year. Various competitions are also regularly held specially singing and dancing.Stress free environment. Teachers are also very friendly and encourage a lot.

Campus Life

Sports are encouraged a lot here. Labs have new systems but some are having very old system. Smart classrooms are available. Library is very good with all the books.Medical facilities are not good as many times no doctor or nurse is available.

From 6th semester onwards you'll be eligible for campus placements. Many companies visits are college such as adobe, nippo, airtel etc.. Avg package is around 6lpa Almost 70-85% are getting placements.

I chose this college due to its ranking and the overall atmosphere of the college and also the reviews or various alumni who are in good positions today. I did apply to other NITs like NIT Bhopal, NiT Surat, NIT Allahabad and others but didn't get confirmation of admission due to rank factor and spot rounds. Due to this I didn't secure admission in other colleges. Nit kkr: one of the best nit in North India
