Remarks

First of all i liked the discipline of the college. And its student friendly environment. And the most that i like in this college is the friendly behaviour from the faculty as well as the non teaching staff. I love our college library. And love to spend time in the library studying books or even studying online through college computers. Overall the study environment is also very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college sylabbus is well updated. Am in 2nd year and we have webinars and seminars for industrial meet. But yet the exposure is yet to come. The faculties are very friendly and frank. And according to me Ms. Lalima Mukherjee mam is good.

There are tons of companies who have visited our college for placement and the placement record is quite good.

College Events

Particularly there is no campus life to be honest. We have our technical and cultural fest but those are not so big. I have participated as a volunteer in both the events. Technical fest is known as Urecon and cultural fest is known as Esctasia.

Campus Life

Our college has sports facilities mainly like cricket, football, footsal, table tennis, volleyball, billiards etc. We have free wifi in our cafeteria and library. Our library is well equipped with all kinds of books. Even students can study on computer if they want to. And labs have all the mordern facilities.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

If frustration would have a definition.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
