Allen carrier Institute,kota, every year my institute used to provide a list of top 20 medical colleges in india where i saw Rg kar at 11 no. And hence i chose this college., the best thing what i like about this college is high exposure of patients which seriously every medical student needs for practical experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

Any college doesn't have all the best teachers. But most of them are good. Few of them are ohk. About syllabus u won't have to suffer a lot. U ll get enough time and help from teachers. Few teachers are so good that u ll start admiring them. And for other activities believe me u ll enjoy college life here along with studies.

Class Size: 1300Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

After u get the degree u can either work as doctors in the same hospital or any other without any issue. Obviously there is no such thing as placement in medical.

College Events

Any college will be behind this one in events and extracurricular activities i swear, whole life here ll just polish ur academic as well as extracurricular talent, extracurricular activities happen more than enough here and u will find fests too grand and enjoyable.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is not so good because this college is way too old, still u ll find classrooms and practical labs clean and smart. Even the hospital is clean. The only problem is hostel rooms.it's not like rooms are not cleaned. But it is lil bit congested and walls are too old. Renovation has not been done for years i guess

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are little congested as i mentioned, boys hostels have been renovated a year ago so there is no such problem for them. But for girls hostel if i ll have to give review i ll say that it is way too congested and walls are way too old. Hostel has not been renovated for years i feel that's the problem but even if it is old and congested it is clean and not unhygienic. If u can adjust little bit u can choose to live in hostel. Also there is no such problems like fan and bulbs are not working. Even if it doesn't u just have to give an application and it ll be fixed as soon as possible

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

So I got admission in Rgkmch based on my AIR of 8107 in AIQ in open seat quota in 2023. I had placed RGKMCH in my preference list as it is one of the oldest medical institutions of India. Rg kar medical college hostel, education and college life review

You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB. R.G.kar Medical college, The home for the Best Future Doctors.

You need to qualify for the NEET UG exam. With an Air of around Rs 10000-13000 to get into this college. All details of admission are available on the MCI and WBMCC websites.
