Remarks

I wanted to pursue my career in the field of computer science but since I didn't get enough marks in JEE mains to get into a good engineering college. I chose B.Sc(H) comp Science from the best college of DU. The curriculum of my course is almost similar to the B.tech CSE engineering students so yeah it's a win-win for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is well structured but the faculty is not so good to be very honest. It's the case with mostly every college so I wasn't actually surprised at all. Industrial exposure which I get until now from my course is a complete Zero.

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunities are ample. If one wants to get a job oncampus, then he/she would most probably get it since various companies with diverse profiles come into our colleges. For example just now, De-Shaw visited for two roles - Financial Research Associate and Front office tech Associate. They took a total of 5 students for both of the profiles combined.

College Events

To be very honest, the reality of our college fest is not even close to the hype which is all around DU. I have seen many fests and got to know that the fests of engineering colleges are dope. As far as DU colleges are concerned, it's just hype nothing else

Campus Life

Sports facilities are pretty good but they are mostly for the sports quota students. Apart from this, the library of our college is dope, it's well structured and quiet. The lab equipments are of utmost quality as well as the latest technology like the i7 processors in every computer in labs.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Placement Experience:

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was overall good and being a economics honours courses it was challenging at times. The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. My honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
