College has to improve its classroom types and make more comfortable, may be A.C rooms or good benches other wise the college is fantastic it might turn you from ordinary student to a famous one just trust its beauty and follow it what it preaches you.

I had applied through admission against vacant seat actually the cutt of was higher for biotechnology but i had received less marks but i had just applied formally without any hopes but the final list displayed my name and i was happy to have been passed out as biotechnologist from one of the reputed colleges in Mumbai now it has been declared as the top colleges under Mumbai university and i feel proud of it i choosed the course as i had deep interset in learning the scope of Biotechnology.

Course i nicely designed as it follows the university patterns college has a great laboratory for Biotechnology and i would say that it is the best lab in the college by far cause other labs dont ahve A.C. and other high end equipments and facilities differ very much.

No internship was offered from college we can take internship from outside on our own companies like Actrec, Cipla, Reliance Life sciences etc can hire you.

Plcaments opportunities are actually not that much in Biotechnology in India you can work in a small company get experince and then move to MNCs or the best option is M.Sc and then Ph.D.

College biotechnology fest is called chimera the marketting team gets the sponsors and other team help the event in other ways as college reputation is on the higher side you are beenfited a lot and the experince is good the sponsors also approach you in a good way and they help you in a friendly and hospitality is good from their side overall the festival is a exploring experience for the students as they can plan their own stalls and set it up buy fest Tshirts and you are the people of attraction on that day for the college .

No hostel mess in good and quite affordable food like Schezwan fried rice and chinese dishes are available at quite cheap rates for students and the Ruia katta is famous for D.Ps the popular restaunrant for Ruiates, Podarites and Welingkar people and the aherrys frankie the manis aouth Indian flavours and the china house chinese food have a lot of dependancies of Ruites who might forget THE VISHNU chaiwala he serves tea to whole ruia even majority events in Ruia itself take him for serving tea which is very sumptous.

None there are many scholarships in Ruia for many students so if have a good academics background you might get a scholarship or if you fall in any of the minority caste then you can get a scholarship easily moreever there are many scholarships for girls and handicaps including discounts in fees etc.

You can say college life in Ruia is nothing without its campus totally it has a deep connection to its ruia katta hardly anyone from Ruia would be there who hasnt spend his/her life in the campus gender ratio is good almost equal extracurricular at its peak a student can transform himself into his passion in this college he can continue with his hobbies or develop new ones there are host of activites that are available right from swimming, football, music, cricket, dance, singing, acting, socil work from NSS, NCC, etc.

Alumni network is very strong there is a alumni cell in ruia where alumni meet special alumni hall is available for meet ups of alumni.

Faculty is great and u can learn discipline and strictness in your work from them some faculties are pass outs from the same course so you can beenfit from them and solve ur doubts about the course easily with them.
