1 hr travel Distance from Rajapalayam by train. So thought it will be more easy to be a dayscholar, but joined hostel to get more studying time. And after completing Diploma in engineering many of my seniors joined MEPCO for its standard. So i joined MEPCO.
Course Curriculum Overview
Through out the year we will be writing test. we have like three internal test, then semester then arrear exams. Most of the subjects will be given three credits, 7 subject every sem and atleast 2 practical for examination. They also teach basic programming for all department, which helped me in placements. Teachers teach well but very very strict. We can't bunk class. every absent for a period you will get 5 rupee fine. other than that every thing is good.
Placement Experience
MEPCO will try to bring as many companies as possible.But can't expect high level companies because of its remote location
College Events
You can be wandering in the campus as you wish. Boys and girls can't talk without any proper reason. We have high speed wifi but for a limited time and monthly limit for usage. I participated in clubs in initial stages, but had lot of projects and assignments in the later period. gyan mitra a technical fest they conduct every year.
Hostel Facilities
You should be inside the hostel by 7 pm otherwise they will close the gates. Hostel warden will be very strict they are working professors in MEPCO so no one can oppose them. they will offer four sharing room for first and second yrs and then we can opt for single sharing room if we wish. this is applicable only for boys hostel
