Remarks

I heard about the NIRF rank of this college was quite good (in the band of 150-200). Now, I opted for Electronics and communication because one of my brother suggest me to go for it and in this branch there are some good opportunities to get gov. jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus is updated according to the market requirements. In the 3 rd and 4 th year there is AI and ML. In the final year there is an industrial tour. One special thing about our college is that if any student holds minimum 8.5 cgpa till his/her final year, he/she can get an great opportunity to have the educational tour at AIT bangkok. Faculties are quite good.

Various MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Infotech, Mindtree, Accenture, hire students from our college. Alumni networking is not so strong. Overall 86% students have placed (for more details visit college website).

College Events

campus is totally ragging free. separate hostel for boys and girls is there. Girl's hostel is inside of the campus. There are several activities throughout the year; like Tree plantation, World Environment day etc. There are two grand festivals held at our college : Navodaya(Cultural fest) and Kritanj (Technical fest).

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

The overall campus life and experience is good . Good infrastructure and very nice events.

I applied to scotting church and jis university also. I prefered this college as it is affordable with good reputation and is near my home . I achived 15000 rank in wbjee so according to my rank and location i choose this college. I visit some more colleges like techno india,brai ware univerty etc but at least all of my criteria matched in this college.
