Remarks

The main factor before taking the admission I was looked at about the placements and after passing out from the university I am also having that. Bagging two jobs at TCS and IBM I have understand the capability of the university and the curriculam that have been learning the way how to be a industry ready guy and the university is taking care that. None can be know this university better than me because I have spent 3 years here and bagged the Jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview

In my opinion the curriculum is industry ready though the new comers have come to our college and started arguing like the syllabus is too lengthy for a university. I just wanted to tell that they will get used to of it and no other university is not providing this kind of facilities like free GATE, CAT preparation classes and also free UPSC classes.

Internships Opportunities

Yeah I have got the internship from TCS to be a part of the software developer group and my stipend is 20000 per month.

Placement Experience

Talking about the placements and job opportunities I have bagged an internship as a software developer from TCS and have bagged two jobs from TCS and IBM in this year. Placement record is unbeatable by any college around the Kolkata. This year my batch mates have got at least one job each of minimum 5LPA which shows the capability of the university.

College Events

The campus life is like more to the school but the main thing is that the discipline that has been the standard for the university since the past few years. The way the university managed the discipline that is quite amazing. Apart from that the university is culturally and technically very much enriched. Every year the technical fest happened and lots of students from outside kolkata have come to our college and show their skills.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Excellence with good culture of academic and infrastructure

If frustration would have a definition.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
