Madras Christian college comes under top 10 colleges in chennai.it is a 365 acres college and my cousin studied her PG.nature's best college.it is co education.there is no ragging.boys, girls are treated equally.
Course Curriculum Overview
Journalism is a practical oriented course.if we have interest in photography, writing, proofreading,travel,radio, newspaper, magazine production and making surely you can join.there are 5 staffs for each subject.staffs divide the group between ourself for practical and theory part.
Placement Experience
There are many companies tied up with us and every year certain amount of students are selected in campus hiring.but in journalism there no much placement opportunities.
College Events
Staffs are very friendly.the famous cultural event is deepwoods where students from different colleges can join and participate.for non MCCain it cost around 500.college conducts deepwoods for 3days.our department has an annual event called mediascape and also some campaign.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I didn't get any scholarship.but if you need you can apply in office room. they will reduce the fees.
Campus Life
Our campus infrastructure is very large.many students from different countries and states will join our college.there is no racism and religion issue.our college is the oldest one in chennai.we have separate space for parking.
Hostel Facilities
I'm a day scholar student.totally 6 hostels.3 for girls and boys.only 1 can stay in a room for boys hostel.for girls 3 in a room.we have free clinic in hostel.I think outside hostels are very cheap.
