Amit Jain's Review On International Institute Of Information Technology - [I²IT], Pune

I took AIEEE examination and scored 121. I opted this college mistakenly actually college's rank in list of top 100 engineering colleges was ranging in between rank on different sites 51-55 but that rank was for Post Graduation(PG) for M.S and Under Graduation was started the same year means we will be the first batch that time.

The college has three courses as follows Electronics & Telecommunication(E&TC),Computer Science(CS),Information Technology(IT).

As such not companies came to college for internship other than BSNL for Electronics and telecommunication last year and this year and no stipend is paid for internship.

Last year around 32 students got placed in campus selection. The companies that came for placements are BookMyshow (3.8 - 4.5 lakhs),ACS (3.6 lakhs),Accolite (10.5 lakhs), Sokriti (3.5 lakhs),Infosys(3.5 lakhs),Vodafone (2.8 lakhs),Geometric(3.6 lakhs).

Dhruva Techno Cultural Fest is been conducted for nearly 5-6 days which include some special days like theme day,traditional day, games,DJ night,mismatch day. Cultural event's main focus is on Codename Hallucination Sports events are also conducted simultaneously called Askra which specially gives importance to football with bigger prize money. Its budget is very low under 70-80 thousand budget. The participation for these above special events has huge participation level.

Every year tuition and development fees are decided by Shikshan Shulka Samiti (SSS) of Govt of Maharashtra. All the students admitted to the Institute needs to pay the fees as per SSS decision. For first year: 83,689 for second year:84.202 for third year 76,642 for final year 71,242(in rupees).

The Finolex promoted Trust and Society offers scholarships to meritorious and underprivileged students. The sole purpose of providing these scholarships to such promising students is to give them a chance to show their academic potential and excel in the fields of engineering and technology. Other than that only OBC and SC,ST students gets caste scholarship.

Student residences are available on the Institute campus. Majority of the rooms have balconies that provide a good view of the surrounding area and a place for relaxation and interaction. Separate student residences for accommodating girls and boys viz. Mithila and Nalanda. The Institute maintains a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene on campus as well as in the student residences in addition to provision for all applicable student facilities. Generator back-up is available incase the power supply is disrupted. A medical centre duly manned (24X7) is also available to take care of any medical emergencies. The hostel administration office is located on the ground floor of the student residence.

Students are given creative license to form their own leagues to plan,organize and execute various activities that bring about strong values like leadership,team-building and a sense of responsibility which will help them face the world outside in a professional way.

The Faculty is if seen has overall 64 faculty members. The best faculty is of CS which is the best faculty and best branch of the college because of it's faculty. The E&TC branch has bad faculty members as out of 24 only 3-4 are experienced and better teaching skills. The IT faculty is below average.
