Remarks
This course is offered in just few colleges of Kolkata. Science faculty of this college is very good specially the microbiology department. Professors and the faculty members are experienced and knowledgeable. The academic record of students are excellent for my program. The college offers ambient atmosphere for its students. The academic expenses are also very cheap and affordable. The college renders most of the facilities without huge expenses. It is very near to my house. The thing I love most about my college is the college library. It is the store house of information. There is no such official monetary charged in case the deadline is over. My course electronics being an ultimate mixture of physics with its mathematical application. I opted for this course as I wanted to study physics along with computer. Physics honours ends up giving a huge burden. Moreover the main reason is that I did not wanted to study Chemistry. Taking up physics honours would have compelled me to study Chemistry as my pass subject. So for students like me who have a thrust for Physics but is afraid of the burden, electronics is the best choice. The course is extremely interesting with the layers of Physics, maths and computer unfolded. This particular course gives scope for jobs as well for higher studies in the foreign countries.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is highly updated. New topics has been added which would help in practical applications.There were not enough industrial exposure executed. The faculities are more or less good. Moumita Roy Mam an ex faculty of our college was very good and helpful.
Placement Experience
Companies like SAP had contacted the students for job internship through online. No other such companies had visited our college.
College Events
The campus life was great. College Freshers, fest's and reunion parties are held. The charges for such functions are affordable. Exhibition, organised by the college students are open to all. The college also gives special importance to NCC candidates.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is not so well in the present but the work is in progress for the future wards. The campus has a outdoor ground for functions and sports. WiFi facility is available for the students. The library is quite big. The labs are well equipped with digital boards and sophisticated equipments.
