Remarks
It is the only engineering college in delhi giving reservations to sikh minority. I was not getting Computer science in other top colleges so i chose this college. The college is located in Rajouri Garden, the party hub of delhi.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is decided by the university and not by the college. University has failed to update the syllabus of most of the engineering branches. You will definitely find lots of industrial exposure here as regular seminars are conducted. We also have IIPC(Industry-Institute Partnership Cell) to act as a bridge between industry and the students.
Placement Experience
Decent placements. Mass recruiter companies like Infosys, TCS, Mahindra visit and hire many students at avg package. Few students also manage to get in HCL and Cisco.and other big companies with high package. Lowest package till now would be around 2.5lpa and highest 28lpa. Placement cell is excellent and is very active. Entrepreneurship is promoted a lot. Some of the startups by our college students are one salons Grafiesto Foodcham technologies pvt. Ltd. GitAllTech Medicians Software Solutions.
College Events
If you are excited to make lots of good memories with your friends in 4yrs of engineering, this college is for you. You will easily find lots of friends here and most importantly there are hardly any "show off" type students here. Noone will judge you here for your financial status and this is what makes this college special for me. Lots of technical events and one big annual fest is organized with best of punjabi singers to perform.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarships are provided by the college, but one can apply for scholarship under delhi govt scheme.
Campus Life
5-acre campus with 4 buildings, 1 library, 1 book bank, 1 canteen and one photocopy shop inside the campus. Labs of all the subjects are present. No wifi except in the labs and library, both of which are air-conditioned too. We have different sports teams but no sports ground, just a small compound. But a sports complex (Hari Nagar Sports Complex) is situated near the college.
Hostel Facilities
No hostel here but lots of PGs available. Avg rent of a PG room would be 5k-6k/month. All-girls PGs are also available. Lots of food shops and tiffin services are situated nearby so no need to worry about eating.
