Remarks

The college is located in one of the most prominent locations of delhi, Rajouri garden. The campus is well connected to all the transportation facilities. Metro station is 5min away from the campus. Bus stop is just 50 m away from the campus. There are lots of food joints around the college with almost all types of food. A big mall is situated within 2km of the campus. The college is affiliated to GGSIPU which is a govt. recognised university. The college is AICTE approved. Major engineering courses such as CSE, IT, ECE, EE are available.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus is up to date with focus on both theoretical and practical knowledge. Lots of webinars are frequently conducted to help students get a deep learning of the concepts. All the faculty members are excellent in their subjects. They have a deep knowledge of the concepts. Most of them are Phd holders. They regularly provide us with projects and assignments to increase our efficiency.

Placement Experience

3.5

Big companies visit the campus during placements but it is very difficult to get a high package. Mass recruitor companies come and hire lots of students but provide low package. Highest package was around 28lpa offered by Amazon. placement cell is working really hard to attract companies and helps students in every way possible.

College Events

4.5

After leaving the college one would have millions of good memories to remember. Campus life is fun-filled. Seniors are very friendly and helpful. One annual fest is celebrated and is known as GATES. This is one of the biggest fests around all the colleges of Delhi. Famous Punjabi singers are invited to perform live in this fest. Some of the previous singers who have performed here are Gurdaas Maan, Diljit Dosanjh, Sharry Maan, Ninja, Guri. This fest has all kinds of events both technical and non-technical. lots of technical and non-technical events are conducted by different societies of the college.

Campus Life

In terms of academics the infrastructure is excellent with all the labs functioning, classrooms with proper desk and chair, proper podiums for teachers. The campus is small in size and hence does not have much sports facilities of its own. But we have a govt. Sports complex adjacent to the campus where students can practice all kinds of sports. Library is well maintained with a sitting capacity of more than 100 at a time. All the books related to the course are available. Library is fully air-conditioned.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The curriculum was overall good and being a economics honours courses it was challenging at times. The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
