Remarks
I wanted to get into DU. And I wanted to get into the music scene and also study economics from a decent college. Hansraj was the best option available for me. Also a senior from school was already placed in the same college, course and was also a part of the music scene so I knew people there behore-hand.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course syllabus hasn't really gone through major changes in the past few years. No kind of industrial exposure provided from college. We had a lot of inefficient guest lecturers. There was not much a practical learning process involves.
Internships Opportunities
Yes. Economic Resend Intern at National Campaign on Dalit Human Rights. No stipend only certificate.
Placement Experience
There's a placement cell. Which offers attractive packages so yeah it's pretty good but I haven't really had direct contact with the placement cell.
College Events
Being, a part of the music society I've had an amazing exposure to the DU music scene and the fest season has been both fum a and a learning experience. We get to participate in competition, win certificates and cash prize and meet like minded people.
Campus Life
Nice. Has sports facilities, two floor library but nice labs, no working internet. There's air conditioning. But no particular rooms for ECA societies where they can practice. There's one room but it's really small and suffocating. Really nice amphitheatre.
