My life in engineering college

Finally i can say that college is good and there is some things needs to be improve such as college infrastructure and job opportunities.

In the year 2012 i took admission into the engineering college and for getting admission into the engineering college i first prepared for that in the coaching center and i appeared for IIT,AIEEE,WBJEE exams and finally i found good rank in WBJEE and through the online counselling i found the jis college and as the computer science and engineering was one of the popular branch thats why i took admission into that branch.

Computer science and engineering is really a developing branch and there are so many opportunities in this and you have to keep yourself upto date with the new technology coming day by day and that is the main challenging things that one person should face taking this course curriculam.

College does provide us some intership occasionally and some intership are paid intership and some are free and i have done one internship in the advance java in 3rd year and my experience is fine one and that give me lot of knowledge to know the my branch very well and that also help me to know the working procedure of industry.

Placement of my college is good and most of students of computer science and engineering branch gets job from campus and thats want is most encouraging things for new students. It company likes tcs,tech mahindra and other companies come to visit our campus for placement and college some times organise programs for students to know the job opportunities.

College organise some good event into the college campus and sarswati puja,biswakrma puja and teachers day are some popular events of my college and in these festivals all the students come across to college campus to make these puja and festivals in a holy manner and students give their best effort to make these events well.

The fee structure of my college is not very high and one has to pay 80000 per annum as a tuition fee excluding hostel fee and if you are staying in the hostel then have to pay 40000 per annum and apart from this 10000 rupees one has to pay at the time of admission for caution money and safety money and these money are refundable after passing out from college.

My college does not give any scholarship to any students but college help the poor students to carry on their study giving fanancial help and apart from this students can avail scholarship from state govt if they belongs to the backward class.

Campus life is sofar good and i have enjoyed it very well and there is good relationship in between the girls and boys. The sex ratio of my college in terms of male and female is 7:3 and in campus students some time organise parties and other cultural program so i am feeling lucky part to be such a campus.

Hostel rooms facility are very good and bathroom are attached with room and in one room two students can stay together and food of the hostel is good and they serve us healthy food and in the mess the food is not as good as the food of hostel but rent of mess is low in comparasion of hostel.

One fresher party is organised every year to welcome the new students so that they can come across to know college seniors and college rules and regulations. College seniors are very helpful.

Exam structure of my university is not very tough according to what i have faced till now in each semester anyone has to appear for two internal exam and then at the end of semester there is written as well as practical exam and passing marks in the exam is just 40 out of 100.

According to my branch the faculty of my college is good and they always try to teach the basis of any subject and always try us to keep upto date what new technology is coming to industry and they teach us according to that and this is the most benefitial things in our college.
