Remarks

Because heritage is the best private engineering college in calcutta. And computer science is the best here. Heritage aluminis are doing great for the country and many are placed in FAANGs. Hence,I chose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is well structured. The facilities are very helpful as well. The college is autonomous so the grading is in the college's hand. Still the marks distribution is not simple. It's quite difficult to score here

Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

Generally TCS is the mass recruiter here. Still many companies come like tech mahindra, itc infotech, hyland software, capgemini. Amazon and microsoft comes to hire students for internship

College Events

Our college fest eclesia is the best fest in kolkata. We all participants from all colleges to take part in the contests. We keep good prize money for the winners. The sponsorship money is quite good that we get from the sponsors

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
