Remarks

One of the best private engineering colleges in Eastern India. One of the very few colleges in Kolkata to provide Biotechnology as a B.Tech course. Excellent faculty and campus feedback from seniors and pass outs. Alumni members reaching new heights daily.

Course Curriculum Overview

Extremely beneficial. Teachers ready to help whenever possible. Not only departmental but non departmental ones were also helpful. So far the journey has been quite a beautiful one. Never faced any problem with communication. The curriculum is a well versed one.

Placement Experience

Placement have been pretty much good in our college. Be it in the IT or in the core companies. A little bit of hardwork is what it takes to sit for the interviews. The TPO cell in always in touch with the students, specially the final year ones and keep up thoroughly updated with every notification regarding any job opportunities.

Quite happening. Be it short festivals or annual fests. Technical fests as well as cultural. Active extracurricular clubs always beaming with happiness. Inter college participation, on campus life, sports, events, the college has been pretty good minus some instances which are ought to take place everywhere.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
