Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune is an emerging and developing college, but it is a good place to learn and research. My interest lies in basic science and research. IISERs offers a peaceful environment and an opportunity to learn from great scientists.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members in our college are great researchers. They are masters in tier area of research. Some of them are bad, but many of them teach well. We have a system to choose what all courses we want from the courses offered by the college. This flexibility is the best thing here.
Placement Experience
As we are graduates in science, and we mostly opt for PhD abroad. There is a high chance of getting a PhD abroad after completion of our course. Currently, the career development cell started here, which is helping students in various ways.
College Events
Fests and annual sports meets are organized by the college on regularly basis. All festivals are celebrated. IISER Pune it offers a marvelous atmosphere. It is an excellent institute. There is a great student community which is always ready to help.
Campus Life
The college has a great lecture hall complex, which is a three-storied building, and it encompasses all the lecturing facilities. The college provides a computer lab, where you can find some good PCs. Laboratories are the best part of our college, and you can find numerous research laboratories here.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel room is good. It provides two-sharing room, and it has every facility for a single person. It has a good studying area with lighting and ventilation facility. Food served to the students is great, and there are two canteens. The college provides free Wi-Fi facility with fast speed.
