Remarks
Because only other good aerospace colleges required a JEE Advanced rank lower than mine and i was interested in aerospace engineering as well as preferred to be in a Government Funded Technical Institute.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course syllabus is being updated. Due to lack of collaboration with aerospace sector, no industrial exposure was provided but the department helps in providing research exposure. All faculties are well versed in their fields but lack in teaching skills. most are approachable for help if some concepts are unclear.
Placement Experience
Aerospace specific companies have not visited the college. Since Aerospace department was started a little over 10 years ago and 7 batches graduated, alumni network is not very strong as most have opted to pursue masters and/or PhDs. Entrepreneur cell is very active and organizes a fest every year to showcase the existing ideas as well as to generate the entrepreneur mindset.
College Events
we have one technical fest of the college and 2 cultural fests. each department organizes its own technical fest too. there are several technical and non-technical clubs in the college which are officially recognized by the students' senate.
Campus Life
We have several sports teams for which the college as well alumni provide the facilities. wifi coverage is there in all the academic as well as residential buildings. there is a well equipped multi-floor library that is open from 9 am to 12 midnight all days of the week. laboratory equipment is satisfactory.
Hostel Facilities
Accommodations are satisfactory. 1st, 2nd and 3rd years have a sharing room with 3 to 5 other people. 4th and some 3rd years ( depending on availability ) get individual rooms. costs are same for all. very easy to avail
