Remarks
Because it is the only Space dedicated University in Asia and I had an interest in Space Science. Also it has collaborations with Caltech and LASK, NTU Singapore and other universities which provide very good opportunities for learning and growth.
Course Curriculum Overview
You would face a problem with the pronounciation of faculties. Academics is very rigorous and hardcore. Labs are top level. You'd be forced through internships from second year onwards, lots of projects etc, you have to manage time very efficiently.
Placement Experience
Well ISRO recruits those who get 7.5+ cgpa, other than that only 9-10 students get placed in companies, some opt for higher education also.
College Events
Well there is always an event every month though it is small scale because of less number of students but it's enough fun. Fest happens in the even semester and attracts enough crowd that the college seems packed. There is house wise sports meet and other sports competitions, the points of which are used to announce the winner of house trophy.
Fees and Financial Aid
It is discontinued from current year otherwise till our batch the students who get 7.5+ cgpa would have their whole fees reimbursed by the college.
Hostel Facilities
It is 100% residential so everyone has to live in hostel. Facilities are good and the staff is very gentle to you, there is proper cleaning and all of the hostel although the rooms you have to clean yourselves.
