Remarks

It's a 3rd ranking college of hotel management in India. Moreover the environment of this area and the campus is also wonderful. The teachers are very friendly. A lot of festivals are celebrated here.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is really very good but it requires a lot of physical strength as we have to work for 14-16 hours a day. But once someone is habituated they will love the job. The faculties of our college is very good. They provide everything necessary. One of them is Mr. Shane Joseph. He is very helpful.

Companies like Taj, Oberoi, IHG, Itc, Marriott Internationals etc come in our campus. Maximum 70% students get placed. Management Trainee and Operation Trainee positions are offered. Hospitality Talks is a startup made by our seniors.

College Events

The campus life is wonderful. Swacha bharat abhiyan is celebrated here. Holi, Diwali, Durga puja everything is celebrated grandly. Food feast is also hosted and many inter college competitions and sports are also held.

Campus Life

We have a big basketball and football ground. Wifi is available. Library is also quite big and air conditioned. Lab is quite good. We got everything necessary from the lab. The kitchen is also very good.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

After giving NCHMCT JEE 2024 i lost hope that I cannot clear the exam and applied to IIHM and gave PI there. I was selected in IIHM and when NCHM results were declared i cleared that too surprisingly with an AIR 500. Then there were many process. IHM Kolkata an experience

In order to take admission in any IHM we need to give JEE exam for Hotel Managment and depending on your rank they allow you to choose the college of your liking.
