Remarks
I have only chose this college because of its popularity. in fact, the college has secured a good rank on that year comparing to the other colleges under the University of Calcutta. Moreover, the college is only for the commerce that had drove me to take admission. According to me, the most likable factor of the college is its academics.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is same for all the colleges under the University of calcutta. The faculties of the college are very pleasing. They are very much helpful and always keep positive attitude towards the students. The college is only for Commerce, so there are different sections and the academics of the college completely depends upon those section. Some sections have top quality academics whereas some sections have average academics.
Internships Opportunities
I applied for Concentrix but was not selected.
Placement Experience
Yes, the college provides placements after the completion of the graduation or in the final year before graduation. The companies like IBM, Concentrix visit the college for placement purpose. The provide both the opportunities i.e. Full Time and Internship. On an average 15 to 20 students are selected from the college during placement.
College Events
I have faced an decent campus life while studying in the college. But there are few loopholes in the college. The infrastructure of the college is very much poor. However, from the aspects of academics, I'm very much satisfied. The college does not arrange any Cultural Events nor Technical or Management Festivals and Extracurricular Activities. The college has a seminar room but frequent seminar does not arranged by the college. Throughout my campus life only one seminar was organized on GST.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no scholarships or loan facility provided from the site of the college. But the students who are not financially feasible, the college grants some concession in their tuition fee.
Campus Life
CCBA has no playground so no Sports facility is set up in the campus. But sometimes the college organize sports programmes in the ground of Calcutta University. As the college has poor infrastructure, so there is hardly any Wifi in the college. The library of the college is standard, students can access computers in the library but there is not enough books in the library for the students.
