Remarks

It was near to my native place and I wanted to be as near as possible to my home. Apart from this, this was the only good college where I got Computer Science & Engineering Branch which I got through WBJEE so I had to take admission in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

As per current world situation, IT field is very good. So the this course is recommended for now. Any course in IT field is good as per now due to Corona Virus. If you have taken any IT course and working in an IT company then its easy to survive for now.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 320000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

Quite a good. Almost 80%+ students of CSE, ECE, IT get placed in many companies. For ME, CE, EE there is some trouble as not many companies come to take core branch students.

1 Technical Fest, 1 Cultural Fest was good, Saraswati Puja, Vishwakarma Puja, Sports Day. These are the only means for extra curriculam activity including cultural, technical, management related activities.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
