Remarks

My father has a catering of his own so that's why I choose this industry. I want to build a career in this industry. And I do not want to go in the general line, I am a commerce student so I didn't want to take Bcom.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our facilities are very good and practical classes gives us the knowledge. By the help of practical classes we get knowledge and idea about the Industry. This is a practical oriented course so practical is very much important.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

Various company visit to our institute. We sit for campus interview for our placement. By this students get jobs.

College Events

Many events and activities are takes place in our college. Recently we have a cultural event on Gujrati cuisine. We also had sports in the months of December and January. We also celebrated many events like dj night and so on.

Campus Life

Good, it has wifi facilities and has labs for practical classes with equipment. Library is ami good. It has a play ground for us. The only problem is our institute is located near industrial areas. Allover it is good.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

After giving NCHMCT JEE 2024 i lost hope that I cannot clear the exam and applied to IIHM and gave PI there. I was selected in IIHM and when NCHM results were declared i cleared that too surprisingly with an AIR 500. Then there were many process. IHM Kolkata an experience

In order to take admission in any IHM we need to give JEE exam for Hotel Managment and depending on your rank they allow you to choose the college of your liking. E.g My All india rank was 803 which allowed me to choose from top seven colloges of IHM. I opted for Kolkata as it was close to my hometown.
