Riya Mistri's Review On Jogamaya Devi College, Kolkata

In every practical subject lab work is the most important which depends on the department and faculty, from year to year many seniors of my school are admitted in this college, and they say that the department of Geography of Asutosh college morning ( Jogomaya Devi college) is equally as good as the other department, mostly the behavior of the teachers are very friendly and they are very helpful to their student, politics is no longer a problem here and this is a morning period base so I have a lot of time during the day, there are also a benefits cause the college is situated near my house time is not wasted to coming and going, According all these reason I choose the college.

In short It is just woww, a homely atmosphere here and here the students are very friendly and Frank, the seniors didi helps in every time when u called them, they always provide a warm and welcoming nature for the freshers, the faculty is not as good as like the prestigious college Xavier's or presidency but the infrastructure and the curriculum is good, and the fees of the college is also not so high, middle class family people can afford the fees structure, specially the morning fst period there are a lot's of Freshness in the campus, a little bit of peace always maintain. Now come in to the syllabus, the teachers provides us notes and the wanted material for our practical, before the exam they give us some mock test papers and the structure of the question, in one word the faculty is really good.

The placement cell is not so good, most of the student will go for the higher study and research, they will get a chance to the prestigious university like presidency university, Calcutta university.

When I admitted it's true that I was a little bit of nervous, In the fst day freshers welcome is an event organized by our seniors of geography department, It's a departmental freshers program, every students participate individually the seniors also performed, It is not a mandatory program for every student being a part of this college I think it's really helpful to introduce yourself, and break ur fear, It's not so big program but obviously it's good for the freshers, The college divided by 3 parts one the morning session ( Jogomay Devi college) which is only for girls, the day session Asutosh college and the evening session ( Shyamaprasad College). According to the marks the morning session is best and not only the marks the infrastructure, faculty every thing is good.
