Remarks

KC College is a highly ranked college in Maharashtra and is well known for its science stream. Moreover, the faculty of teachers help the students in every way possible, be it for practicals or any classroom doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty was more than helpful and helped the students in every way possible. The course syllabus is a bit outdated but along with the practical demonstrations, the courses are made more interesting.

I was a student under junior college and hence am unaware of the colleges placement and job opportunities. Since, it is a well known college I am sure it has several job placements and opportunities to offer.

College Events

The College has several events and extracurricular activities to offer throughout the academic year. Due to a tight schedule, I was unable to participate in many of them. All in all college life was great.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
