Remarks

It was the closest from my place and as I have a neurotic desease I can't travel distance everyday for studying purpose. And this college is one of the best colleges in the area. It has a great infastructure, helping alumni, and all needed facilities like Library, Computers and Canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview

My Faculty helped me a lot with understanding assignments and with providing study material and recommending helpful books. The Seniors from the same department also helped me a lot by sharing their experience.

It is a under graduate college so students need to do post graduation from another University in order to get a job.

College Events

We've many cultural festivals throughout the year, like independence day, Saraswati puja, Events where students from other colleges and schools participate, Nature conservation week, Language festival, Music fests where famous singers are invited, Sports meet.

Campus Life

We have sports festival every year. We have 4labs, 10computers, free wi-fi in campus, library containing more than 2100books, Seperate Hostel for boys and girls and a canteen which provides fresh food.

Hostel Facilities

I have not opted for a hostel but the hostel is in five minutes walking distance from the campus. And it has seperate building for boys and girls. Many of my friends and students who are studying far from home stay in the hostel throughout their course duration.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
